[General] The Independent: Wii sports is the greatest game of all time

In a recent article in the Independent, a UK daily newspaper, they listed their top 50 video games of all time. Surprisingly, they said Wii sports was the greatest game of all time.

"The game that brought the world the 'Wii elbow'," says Rebecca Armstrong, "Wii Sports might have injured a few dozy players but it did get them off the sofa in the first place. Golf, bowling, boxing, baseball, tennis - each sport showcases the motion-sensitive nature of the Wii. Also well worth a go - if you can find one - is the bestselling Wii Fit, which takes the exertion up a few notches."

The top 5 games were:
1 Wii sports
2 Braid
3 Halo 3
4 Fallout 3
5 Rockband

Some other noticeable listings are Gears at 7, Mario Kart Wii at 11, Call of Duty 4 at 18, Twighlight Princess at 24, Super Mario RPG at 30, Resident Evil 4 at 46 and Pokémon D/P at 50.

Surprisingly, neither the Super Mario bros games or Ocarina of time did not make the list.

UK newspapers are a little fail...they're not hardcore gamers at all. They just pick up what they can play straight away I bet.
