Well I believe the only thing you can do is get a reciever add-on/peripheral (unless the iPhone has one built in), otherway there's no other way for you to pick up the fm signal...from my understanding.

If you download the Yahoo! Music app, under stations there is a tab called "Near You" and it will list major cities. Pick the one closest to you and it will show some of the stations in your area if they have live online streaming. most popular stations do, not all of them obviously. It might only have US cities though, not sure.
